Hey Lovelies! If you’ve been following along for a hot minute, you’ve probably become accustomed to my love for a beautiful tablescape. My Christmas Tablescape this year may be my favourite one yet! As with every Tablescape I create, it always starts with one piece of inspiration and then evolves from there.
This year, my inspiration piece was matte black cutlery. I kept pinning Tablescapes to my Pinterest Boards that had black cutlery, so I knew that was going to be my starting point. Honestly, check out my Christmas board on Pinterest and you’ll notice a theme:)
Let me share with you all the details of what I’m calling:
A Scandinavian Christmas Tablescape with a splash of vintage
With the matte black cutlery I knew I wanted lots of white and then natural greenery. I already own white dishes. I found a very similar set here. Originally I was just going to keep it to black and white with natural greens UNTIL I went a bit “orange” crazy and started adding Dried Oranges to my decor theme for the year. Check out my Dried Oranges DIY here.
Once I started adding dried oranges to my other Christmas Decor I knew that I wanted to incorporate it into my Tablescape as well.
So, once I added that pop of orange to the Tablescape with the Dried Oranges, I decided to go a step further and add these beautiful vintage style wine goblets generously provided by All in One Party Shop. I personally think they took this simple Christmas Tablescape to the next level!
The Final touches are the beautiful live greens generously donated by Art Knapp Courtenay. I decided to start with a base of cedar branches, add in a bit of Eucalyptus and then these little mini indoor trees added a pop of whimsy.
I can’t forget about the beautiful hand lettering from my friend Amy from Wildwood Art and Crafts. This is the 2nd year that I’ve had Amy come and beautify my paper scroll. This year I was very intentional about the words that would be on that paper roll. I pray that these words will bring life and hope to every family member and guest that visits us over the holidays.
Has this inspired you get to your table all pretty and festive? I’d love to see what you end up doing! Please be sure to tag me on Instagram if you decide to create a Christmas Tablescape.
Until Next Time,
