Easter is just around the corner and once again I feel like its creeping up so quickly! Although, I think I’m further ahead than last year, so thats a win! I thought that since I’m feeling a smidge more organized than usual, I’d give YOU a few ideas and help a mama out;)
I like to be fairly intentional with Easter baskets and stay away from too much “stuff”. Instead, I’ve usually gone with more of a spring/summer theme and take this opportunity to stock it with some necessities that they’ll need anyways. Off course I add a few chocolates and treats but for the most part I’m more about quality over quantity:)
I’ve always found that choosing a theme makes it fun and easier to shop for. You could go with a “Backyard Fun” theme, or maybe a “Beach days” theme or another sweet idea is a “Bedtime routine”. I’d love to hear what you do for Easter Baskets as well! I’m always open to some new suggestions. In the meantime, here are some ideas for a fun themed Easter Basket.
Beach Days Basket
For this theme basket I’d grab all the items for a fun day at the beach. Swimsuit (check out these fantastic UV protection suits from Planet Kids in Comox), a fun beach towel, a few beach toys, kid friendly sunscreen and a sun hat. Throw in a cute water bottle and off course a few treats and voila! super cute Easter Basket!
Backyard Fun Basket
For this basket I’d include some sidewalk chalk, a variety of bubbles and accessories, a new skipping rope, and a fun outdoor game or splash toy.
Gardening Theme Basket
I LOVE the idea of this basket and have so many fun ways to make it the sweetest little themed gift! Start with the new Joanna Gaines children’s book We are the Gardeners Then, you can add some cute gardening gloves, a watering can, a few seed packages, gardening tools and a sweet little sun hat.
Spring Showers Basket
This is a fun and practical basket theme! Lets face it, spring brings rain and every little one needs a pair of rain boots and rain jacket. For this basket, start with an adorable pair of rain boots from Planet kids, pair it with a cute rain jacket or rain suit. A cute umbrella finishes this theme! Finish it off with a couple little goodies for a super functional Easter basket!
Bedtime Routine Basket
For the little cuddle bug in your life, this sweet little basket is the perfect option! Start with an heirloom quality Cuddle and Kind doll. New pj’s is a great idea as well. To complete this theme you can add some bubble bath, a cute bath towel and a new book for bedtime stories. Another super fun theme basket!
I’d love to see what you’re putting in your kiddos Easter baskets this year! For a full look at what I’ve put in Mila’s Easter Basket, be sure to watch my Instagram story highlights. As for my teenagers; Does anyone have some good ideas?
Until Next time,
