Endy Mattress Review

**We were gifted this mattress in exchange for an honest review.  We only take on partnerships that we truly believe in and that represent our lifestyle.  All opinions are our own

We’ve been married for 20 years and to be honest for the greater part of our life together we didn’t place much value on a mattress.  Our first mattress as a couple was an old mattress my parents handed down to us.  In our 20’s it was fine, we could sleep anywhere and a quality mattress just wasn’t on the top of our priority list.

Our First New Mattress

About 6 years ago we decided to buy our first brand new mattress.  We were adulting at its finest and I was so excited about finding a quality mattress and upping our sleep game! Before we made a decision, we did a bunch of research and went around testing mattresses, finally choosing what we thought was the perfect mattress for us.  We even splurged and went for a king size.  All my sleep dreams were finally coming true!

Our new bed was all set up and we started enjoying dreamy sleeps on our new “pillow top” mattress.  Sadly, this dream fest didn’t last long.  I have to say, we were shocked that within months our brand new mattress was starting to sag in the middle.  We had followed the instructions, flipping it and turning it regularly but it didn’t matter, within 6 months there was a very noticeable change to the mattress and we felt super disappointed.

We contacted the company and were happy to hear that they were going to stand by their product and replace our mattress.  Our replacement mattress came pretty quickly and started enjoying our dreamy slumber again.  This time around the mattress held its shape fairly well but over time both of us were starting to notice aches and pains and my husband especially was regularly waking up with a sore back.  Having picked out a medium to firm mattress with a pillow top,  it was supposed to work for both of our needs (so they said) but we were realizing that our dreams of the perfect balance might not be a reality.

Meet Endy

When Endy approached me to review their mattress I was both excited but also skeptical.  I always want to be honest with my reviews and promote products that I truly believe in so I was a bit worried.  What if we honestly didn’t like the mattress or we had the same experience as we had previously with new mattresses?

Our mattress arrived in a big box and the unboxing was super fun! We removed the packaging and watched as it tranformed before our eyes and took shape.  The first order of business was the jump test because all mattresses need to be able to pass the “monkey’s on the bed” test, am I right?  We are happy to say that the Endy mattress passed the jump test with flying colors!

100 night trial

I think that Endy is very smart to ask for a review once you’ve had time to really test their mattress.  I have to be completely honest.  About 2 weeks into our mattress trial I looked at my hubby one morning and said “I’m not sure how I’m going to give this a positive review” .

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of the mattress but we were still waking up with a sore back.  I knew we needed to give this mattress a fair chance though and I was committed to doing just that.  I can honestly say that a few weeks later we really started to see the true benefits of the Endy mattress.  I now realize that we just needed time to adjust to the new support that this mattress was giving us.

We had become so accustomed to our old mattress that was super pillowy and lacked support.  Our new Endy mattress was finally giving our backs a good support system and before long we were finally getting that dreamy sleep we had been hoping for!

I can honestly say that we LOVE our Endy mattress.  I look forward to crawling in every night (sometimes even mid day;)) and we both wake up feeling rested without sore backs.  I’m so relieved that I can honestly give you a two thumbs up review of this amazing mattress!

I have a question…I am considering putting an Eddy mattress in our RV but am concerned about temperature fluctuations as we camp in both the heat of summer and as well as the possible freezing temperatures of late fall and early spring. The trailer can get very cold and or hot and I am worried about the mattress holding the cold or hot from the fluctuations. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Hello! Thanks for the question! This foam is actually unique in that it has temperature control. Its not like the old school memory foam that is so dense and hot. They have more info about it on the website but I’d say you’d be really pleased!

We are considering purchasing a foam mattress. The Douglas brand has very good ratings, and is the one we thought about purchasing. Can you please tell me he difference between Endy and Douglas? Thank you.

      Hi Helen,

Thanks so much for your question. Let me get back to you with some stats. I honestly don’t know a lot about the Douglas brand but am happy to do a little leg work for you:)
